The SMC7008ABR multifunctional broadband router combines high-speed switching capabilities with a NAT-based router, a print server for network printing, an RS-232 modem failover port, an Internet firewall for security, and Web-based management in a single cost-effective solution. Eight 10/100 Mbps ports accept either Ethernet or Fast Ethernet devices and automatically determine the transmission speed of the attached device. Connection to your network is made using a high-speed 10 Mbps WAN port. Built-in NAT-based translation can provide simultaneous Internet connections for up to 253 PCs using a single IP address and an integrated DHCP server can auto-assign IP addresses to all the devices on your network.
